Pakistan, our cherished homeland, is globally renowned for its remarkable geological diversity. Its landscapes range from vast plains, deserts, and lush forests to rolling hills, plateaus, scenic coastal regions along the Arabian Sea, and the towering peaks of the Karakoram Range in the north. The country is blessed with mineral-rich mountains, fertile agricultural lands, and some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the world. Geologically, Pakistan sits at the convergence of the Eurasian, Iranian, and Indian tectonic plates.

Yet, despite its immense natural wealth, Pakistan faces severe environmental challenges. Since the 1990s, environmental degradation has escalated, leading to the destruction of terrestrial ecosystems, depletion of natural resources, deforestation, desertification, soil erosion, land degradation, waterlogging, and widespread pollution. These issues threaten both human populations and the rich biodiversity of flora and fauna.

Green Living Pakistan (GLP), a subsidiary of the Green Living Association, a non-governmental, non-profit, and self-reliant organization dedicated to promoting environmental education in Pakistan. Since 2012, GLP has worked tirelessly to cultivate an environmentally conscious nation. Many prestigious educational institutions across Pakistan are our Green Partners, actively participating in our initiatives.

Our mission is to empower Pakistani students and their families to tackle the country’s pressing environmental challenges. Through vibrant and innovative activities, we strive to make Pakistan a sustainable country.

Staying true to our principles, we do not accept any funding or donations—local or foreign—ensuring our focus remains solely on selflessly serving Pakistan’s environmental cause. Since 2007, our accomplishments have been achieved through disciplined internal fund management and prudent financial control.

The enthusiasm we foster in our participants has the power to transform the lives of young Green Ambassadors and their families.

Together, let’s unite to make our homeland Pakistan a sustainable country to grow and thrive!
